Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Abd Allah ibn Abi Qatadah narrated to me, he said: My mother narrated to me that her father narrated to her that some of the children of Abu Qatadah entered upon him on the day of Friday, shaking his head, having performed ghusl. He said: "Did you perform ghusl for Friday?" He said: "No, but rather for janabah (major ritual impurity)." He said: "Then repeat the ghusl for Friday."
