'Abbad ibn al-'Awwam narrated to us, from 'Umar ibn 'Amir, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, from Hudhayfah, who said: "There is no Jumu'ah (Friday prayer) upon the people of the villages; the Jumu'ah is only upon the people of the cities, such as the metropolises."
