Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, he said: Raja’ ibn Abi Salamah narrated to us, he said: Abu ‘Ubayd, the freed slave of Sulayman ibn ‘Abd al-Malik, narrated to me, he said: ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz departed from Dabiq, and he was the Commander of the Faithful on that day. He passed by Aleppo on a Friday, so he said to its governor: "Gather [the people for prayer], for we are travelers."
