Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2761

Waki’ narrated to us, from Ya’la ibn al-Harith, from Iyas ibn Salama ibn al-Akwa’, from his father, who said: We used to pray the Friday prayer with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when the sun had passed its zenith, then we would return and seek the shade.
