Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2832

Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Husayn, from Umarah ibn Ruwaybah, that he saw Bishr ibn Marwan raising his hands upon the pulpit. He said: "May Allah make these two hands ugly. I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) do no more than say with his hand like this," and he gestured with his index finger.
