Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2942

Waki’ narrated to us, from Jarir ibn Hazim, from Thabit, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would descend from the pulpit on the day of Friday, and a man would stand with him and speak to him regarding a need. Then he would proceed to his place of prayer and pray.
