Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:3075

Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Yunus narrated to us, he said: Baqi ibn Makhlad Abu Abd al-Rahman—may Allah have mercy on him—narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn al-Muntashir, from his father, from Habib ibn Salim, from al-Nu’man ibn Bashir, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to recite in the two Eids and on Friday: "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming?" And if the two Eids gathered on one day, he would recite them in both of them.
