Ya'la narrated to us, from Mis'ar, from Ma'bad ibn Khalid, from Zayd ibn 'Uqbah, from Samurah, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite in the Friday [prayer]: "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" (Sabbiḥ isma rabbika al-a'lā) and "Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?" (Hal atāka ḥadīthu al-ghāshiyah).
