Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:3100

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, who said: Muhammad said: "They say that Muhammad steps over the necks of the people on the day of Jumu’ah, but I do not step over [them]. I only come and stand, and the man recognizes me, so he makes space for me."
