Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:3286

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ata', that Ibn al-Zubayr asked Ibn 'Abbas. He said: And that which was between them was good, so he said: "Do not give the adhan and do not perform the iqamah." Then, when that which was between them became bad, he gave the adhan and performed the iqamah.
