Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ata', that Ibn al-Zubayr asked Ibn 'Abbas. He said: "How should I act on this day, the day of 'Eid?" And the relationship between them was good. He said: "Do not give the Adhan, and do not give the Iqamah, and pray before the Khutbah." When the relationship between them became bad, he gave the Adhan and the Iqamah, and he gave the Khutbah before the prayer.
