Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:3462

Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Ja’far, from his father, who said: Two Eids coincided during the time of Ali. He attended the Eid prayer with them, then said: "We are gathering [for the Friday prayer], so whoever wishes to attend, let him attend."
