Abu Usama narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from Wahb ibn Kaysan, who said: Two Eids coincided on one day. Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr went out and performed the Eid prayer after the day had risen high. Then he entered [the mosque] and did not come out until he performed the Asr prayer. Hisham said: I mentioned that to Nafi, or it was mentioned to him, and he said: That was mentioned to Ibn Umar, and he did not disapprove of it.
