Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:354

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq al-Shaybani, from Abd al-Rahman bin al-Aswad, from his father, that he used to prostrate while in a burnous (hooded cloak) and he would not take his hands out of it.
