Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:3629

Waki’ narrated to us, from Musa ibn Ubaydah, from his brother, from Jabir, who said: Our dwellings were far away, so we wanted to move closer to the mosque of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. We mentioned that to him. He said: "Do not do it. Come to it as you were. There is no believer who performs wudu and perfects the wudu, then goes out to the mosque, except that Allah writes for him a good deed for every step, and removes from him a bad deed by it."
