Hushaym narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Salim, who said: I asked al-Sha'bi about a man who was praying, and in front of him were people praying, then they departed. He said: "He should move forward to the wall in front of him." I said: "Should he recite while he is walking?" He said: "No, not until he reaches the place where he will stand."
