'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, that people from the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to lead [others] in prayer while they were blind. Among them were 'Itban ibn Malik, Mu'adh ibn 'Afra', and Ibn Umm Maktum.
