Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Wasil al-Ahdab, from Qabisah ibn Burmah al-Asadi, who said: Abdullah said: "I would not like for your muadhdhins (callers to prayer) to be your blind men." He said: "I think he said: 'Nor your reciters (of the Quran).'"
