Jarir narrated to us, from Qabus, from his father, that he sent a woman to Aisha. She saw a slave girl of hers who had a *jumma* (hair reaching the earlobes). She said, "If she were to cover this, it would be more appropriate for her." She (Aisha) said, "She has not yet menstruated, nor has the menstruation appeared yet."
