Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:3890

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, he said: Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi’, who said: Our leaders, when it was a rainy night, would delay the Maghrib prayer and hasten the Isha prayer before the twilight had disappeared. Ibn Umar used to pray with them and did not see any harm in that. Ubaydullah said: And I saw al-Qasim and Salim praying with them on such a night.
