Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from Habib, from ‘Amr, who said: Jabir ibn Zayd was asked, "Is there a separation between the dawn prayer and the two rak'ahs before it by speaking?" He said, "No, unless he speaks due to a need, if he wishes."
