Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:4063

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Sa'id, he said: Muhammad ibn Ibrahim narrated to me, from Qays ibn 'Amr, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) saw a man praying two rak'ahs after the morning prayer. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The morning prayer twice?" The man said: "I had not prayed the two rak'ahs that are before it, so I prayed them now." So he (the Prophet) remained silent.
