Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:4148

Waki’ narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Ibrahim, who said: Hudhayfah prayed upon a dais in al-Mada'in, higher than his companions. Abu Mas’ud pulled him [down] and said to him: "Do you not know that this is disliked?" He [Hudhayfah] said: "Did you not see that when you reminded me, I remembered?"
