Waki’ narrated to us, from al-Mas’udi, from al-Qasim, who said: The *shadhrawan* (foundation/base) of the palace used to have the Imam stand upon it. He said: Abdullah (Ibn Mas’ud) disliked it, and he ordered it, so it was broken.
