Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:4151

Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Mughirah, from Ibrahim, that he used to dislike for the place of the Imam to be higher than the place of the people. And he used to dislike for a man to raise something in his place of prayer upon which he would prostrate.
