Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Abu ‘Amir al-Muzani informed us, from al-Hasan, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Pray four [rak'ahs] at night. Pray, even if it be two rak'ahs. There is no household known to perform prayer at night except that a caller calls out to them: 'O people of the house, rise for your prayer.'"
