Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, from 'Uthman ibn Hakim, from Isma'il ibn Zayd, he said: Zayd ibn Thabit used to perform Witr with five rak'ahs, not sitting (for tashahhud) in them (until the end).
