Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Al-A’mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Sulaym Abu al-Sha’tha’ al-Muharibi, who said: I asked Ibn Umar about the Qunut in the dawn prayer. He said: "And what is the Qunut?" I said: "A man stands for a while after the recitation." Ibn Umar said: "I was not aware of that."
