Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:4654

Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, from ‘Ubayd ibn ‘Umayr, who said: I heard ‘Umar performing the Qunut in the dawn [prayer], saying: "In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. O Allah, we seek Your help, we believe in You, we rely upon You, and we praise You with all goodness, and we do not disbelieve in You." Then he recited: "In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. O Allah, You alone we worship, and to You we pray and prostrate, and to You we strive and hasten. We hope for Your mercy and we fear Your punishment; for Your severe punishment is surely attached to the disbelievers. O Allah, punish the disbelievers among the People of the Scripture who obstruct [others] from Your path."
