Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:4847

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-‘Ayyash al-‘Amiri, from Sulayman ibn Hanzalah al-Bakri, that he passed by a man leading a people [in prayer] while looking at the Mushaf (the written Quran), so he struck him with his foot.
