Hushaym narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu Nadra, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the people in prayer one day. When he stood to say the takbir, he said: "If Satan makes me forget something of my prayer, then the tasbih (saying 'SubhanAllah') is for the men, and the clapping is for the women."
