Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:4923

Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Ata, who said: I asked him about covering the mouth during prayer and circumambulation (Tawaf). He disliked it in prayer, and he granted a concession for it in circumambulation.
