Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:4945

Abu Usama and Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Umar, from Khubayb (Habib), from Abd al-Rahman, from Hafs ibn Asim, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade two prayers: the prayer after the dawn breaks until the sun rises, and after the afternoon (Asr) prayer until the sun sets.
