Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Ajlan, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Sa’id al-Khudri, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of you prays, let him pray towards a sutrah (barrier), and let him draw near to it, and let him not allow anyone to pass between him and it. If someone comes to pass [between them], let him fight him, for he is a devil."
