Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:4980

Waki' narrated to us, he said: Musa ibn 'Ali narrated to us, from his father, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, he said: I heard [that] there were three times during which the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to forbid us to pray and to bury our dead: When the sun rises, appearing, until it ascends; and when it inclines toward setting until it sets; and when the sun stands at its zenith until it passes.
