Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:5223

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Abi Isma'il, who said: I saw 'Ata' and Sa'id ibn Jubayr, and Al-Walid delayed the prayer. They gestured [to pray] at the time of the prayer, then they sat until they prayed that prayer with him. I saw them do that repeatedly.
