Abu Khalid and 'Abdah bin Sulayman narrated to us, from Yahya bin Sa'id, from 'Amrah, from 'Aishah, who said: "If the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, had witnessed what the women have introduced, he would have forbidden them from the mosques, just as the women of the Children of Israel were forbidden." She (the narrator) said: I said, "And were they forbidden?" She said, "Yes."
