Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:5261

Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from Mansur, from Shaqiq, from Masruq, who said: There is no state more worthy for a servant to be answered in than that he be in the path of Allah, or that he be with his face rubbed in the dust, prostrating.
