Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Hisham al-Dastawa’i narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Rashid, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Shibl, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Recite the Qur’an, and do not consume [wealth] by means of it, and do not grow arrogant through it, and do not turn away from it, and do not exceed the limits regarding it."
