Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:5419

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Muhammad bin Sharik narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Ibn Abbas, that he was asked about the Duha (forenoon) prayer. He said: "It is indeed in the Book of Allah, and no substitutes can replace it." Then he recited: "In houses which Allah has ordered to be raised and that His name be mentioned therein; exalting Him within them in the morning and the evenings."
