Waki’ narrated to us, from Mis’ar, from Ziyad ibn Fayyad, who said: I prayed beside Abu ‘Iyad, and I touched the pebbles, so he struck my hand. When he finished his prayer, he said: "Indeed, it is said regarding this a severe statement."
