Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:5624

Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, that a man asked him and said to him: "The devil comes to me while I am in prayer and whispers to me until he says: 'You have broken your ablution.'" He said: "Do not turn away [from the prayer] until you find its scent or hear its sound."
