Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:5658

Waki’ narrated to us, from al-‘Umari, from Nafi’, from Ibn ‘Umar, that he performed tayammum and prayed, then he entered Medina while there was still time, yet he did not repeat [the prayer].
