Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:5686

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, from Uthman ibn al-Aswad, from Mujahid, who said: There is no recitation in the bowing (ruku) nor in the prostration (sujud). They were only made for the remembrance of Allah the Exalted.
