Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Hurayz ibn Uthman narrated to us, from Rashid ibn Sa'd, from Asim ibn Humayd al-Sakuni—and he was one of the companions of Mu'adh—from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who said: We waited for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) for the Isha prayer. He came out to us and said: "Perform this prayer late, for you have been favored by it over all other nations, and no nation before you has prayed it."
