Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:5852

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Abu al-Tufayl, from Mu’adh ibn Jabal, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) combined the Dhuhr and ‘Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and ‘Isha prayers, while traveling during the expedition of Tabuk.
