Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:596

Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from Abu Farwah, from Ibn Abi Layla, who said: A man entered the mosque and performed a prayer in which he did not complete its bowing (ruku') nor its prostration (sujud). He said: I mentioned that to Abdullah ibn Yazid, and he said: "It is, despite what is in it, better than abandoning it."
