Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:599

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Mutarrif, from Yahya ibn Ubayd, from Abdullah ibn Yazid, that he was asked about a man who does not complete the bowing (ruku') nor the prostration (sujud). He said: "It is better than nothing."
