Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:5991

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Qudama al-‘Amiri narrated to us, from Jasra bint Dajaja, from Abu Dharr, that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) repeated this verse until morning: "If You punish them, then indeed they are Your servants, and if You forgive them, then indeed You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
