Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Thabit ibn Ubayd, who said: We entered upon Zayd ibn Thabit while he was praying upon a mat, prostrating upon it. And he said: The superiority of the prayer in congregation over the prayer alone is twenty-five degrees.
